Lee Taal

Chatter High
British Columbia, Canada
A future paleontologist/football player who attended high school in Peterborough, Ontario, Lee’s career path was a complete surprise to him. A graduate of RRMC with a B.Sc in Oceanography & Space Science, he worked in the Arctic, has a medal from the UN and NATO, gave advice to engineers on broken down locomotives, designed the advertising at an Airport, founded EdTech ChatterHigh and now has a mission of getting every student to talk about their future. Lee was honoured to speak at TEDXEdmonton in 2017. Lee sits on the BC Technology Workforce Development Subcommittees for Diversity & Outreach and Job Readiness and is on the Board of C21: Canadians for 21st Century Learning and Innovation. All of Lee’s work today is around building accessibility to the information today’s teen needs to explore. Considered a ‘philanthropreneur’ in his approach to helping schools, Lee presents at educational conferences and has talked with 30,000 students in classrooms across N. America.
