This session will be a presentation and discussion about how a chance meeting led to a partnership between SunWest Distance Learning Centre and Vancouver Animation School. We will discuss our process in developing innovative technology and courses to teach art & technology in an online environment. Without this partnership, we would not have the expertise to develop and offer programming in the creative industries for visual learners. The 3D computer animation course acts as a dual credit if the student pursues further training. Our goal: To establish a triangular partnership with a win-win-win situation, which includes administrators, teachers and students.
