OER development is a growing area within K-12 teacher professional learning that addresses educators’ need for flexible learning strategies that are designed, used, contextualized, and shared by practicing teachers. Through the Campus Alberta OER Initiative, a media creation project has created open licensed podcasts and videos that will be offered through Athabasca University’s graduate courses MDDE 622 (Openness in Education) or BOLT 676 module (Systems Theory and Learning), part of the Blended and Online Learning and Teaching (BOLT) initiative. Come, interact, and learn how the content of these media can multiply the thoughtful use of OER.
